Description

The Auburn project represents new construction of a mixed-use residential and retail development on a previously blighted property. Located at the corner of Cass Avenue and Canfield Street in Detroit's Midtown area, this transaction was strongly supported by key community organizations as an important component of the overall redevelopment strategy for the district. The Auburn project created 58 affordable and market-rate residential units, 94 spaces of on-site parking, and 8,659 SF of retail space in Midtown; and is within walking distance of numerous employment centers, universities, cultural centers and entertainment venues.

This redevelopment brings market-rate, rental units and unique retail space to Detroit's Midtown, and an additional 38 retail and office jobs.
