Programs that Strengthen the Ecosystem

In addition to investment capital and technical assistance, ID Ventures runs two additional programs designed to tackle some of the toughest challenges for Michigan’s startups: exposure, mentorship, access to investors, and connecting with talent.

Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition

Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition (AMIC) is an annual business pitch competition that showcases and supports Michigan startups by offering entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ideas to investors for exposure and significant prizes, while providing professional venture mentorship. Funded by the generosity of partners, foundation, and individual sponsors, months of preparation culminate in a public event where investors and guests can learn about the exciting startups across the state.
