Aditi Rajagopal joined Invest Detroit in June 2021 as an Associate on the ID Ventures team. She will be taking a lead role in identifying and developing relationships with entrepreneurs across Michigan, helping to coach and develop startup talent to prepare them for investment. In addition to deal development and management of the investment process, she will help with the implementation of systems to better manage pipeline and portfolio success goals.
Aditi is a technologist, artist, and public policy enthusiast who recently graduated from the University of Virginia with her MBA and MS in Data Science from the Darden School of Business, and the School of Data Science respectively. During her time at UVA, she developed her expertise at the intersection of data science and business through various projects and internships with VC firms, and at CoderPad, where she worked in Product and Data operations.
Prior to graduate school, she was a software engineer at IBM in their Rochester Minnesota office working on proprietary and open source cloud infrastructure products including IBM Cloud, Kubernetes, OpenStack and Docker. Aditi has been a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) since she was an undergrad at University of Michigan and is looking forward to getting more involved in the community.
