Allison Murdock joined the ID Ventures team in August 2020 as an analyst where she will be helping the team meet and screen new investment opportunities, develop relationships with entrepreneurs, and assist in the due diligence and investment committee process.
Allison is a recent graduate of Morgan State University, located in her hometown, Baltimore, MD. While there, she was immersed in the Venture Capital industry through internship experiences at Intel Capital and Greenspring Associates. Once she identified her passion for philanthropy and social impact, she began aligning her career progression with her passion for social change. In 2019, Allison joined a Baltimore-based fellowship of college students vying to create lasting social impact in the community with the guidance of local civic leaders. After graduating from the fellowship in Baltimore, Allison joined Venture for America with the intention to identify post-graduation opportunities that would combine her professional experiences in college with her passion and potential.
She is looking forward to learning about Detroit’s rich history, and contributing to igniting economic growth for all Detroiters. Outside of her professional world, Allison is a sister, a novice knitter, an experienced ballerina and dancer, and a world traveler.
