Chris Frick joined Invest Detroit in August 2023 as the organization’s Chief Financial Officer. He is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for capital, resource and financial management, fundraising strategy and long-term strategic planning.
Chris brings over 30 years of accounting, finance and banking experience to the organization. Prior to joining Invest Detroit, Chris was the Chief Financial Officer for Plymouth Growth where he was responsible for financial and investor reporting for its multiple growth equity funds. Chris also worked as the system controller for Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital, senior accountant for Andrews Hooper Pavlik PLC and assistant vice president/commercial relationship officer for Citizens Bank (now Huntington Bank).
Chris graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, has an MBA from Saginaw Valley State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
