Danielle Graceffa joined Invest Detroit as General Counsel in January 2021.
Ms Graceffa is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy (BA 2003) and Wayne State University Law School (JD 2006) and is admitted to practice law in Michigan. Most recently, she served as the interim General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary for Capital Impact Partners. In this role, she oversaw all legal matters involving Capital Impact Partners, was responsible for Capital Impact’s compliance function, and advised Capital Impact’s Board on governance and other matters relevant to the Board’s oversight function. Prior to this role, she was a Senior Director, Legal Services upon joining Capital Impact in 2016 and then served as Capital Impact’s Assistant General Counsel. Before joining Capital Impact, Ms. Graceffa was a partner in the law firm of Dykema Gossett and represented Invest Detroit Foundation for many years in that role.
She is originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and is currently a resident of Ontario, Canada where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
