Deborah Dunbar joined Invest Detroit in September 2022 as the Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management.
Before joining Invest Detroit, Deborah was an Assistant Vice President at Huntington Bank, where she managed an active commercial construction portfolio. During her 11-year tenure with Huntington, she worked through three bank mergers, holding roles in special assets and commercial real estate lending.
Previously, Deborah spent two decades with The PrivateBank in Bloomfield Hills, joining the then-startup financial institution as the 12th employee. Dunbar served in various capacities, including Risk Management and Loan Administration Officer.
Deborah has been an active volunteer with Cornerstone Schools in their Partner Morning program, a volunteer reading mentor with Soar Detroit, and is an inaugural and active member of Impact100 Macomb County. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Flint.
