Todd Suriano joined Invest Detroit this July as a Senior Underwriter on the credit team where he will be analyzing credit requests and helping potential client complete the requirements for funding.
Todd has over twenty seven years of commercial banking experience. He began his career with the Madison National Bank in Madison Heights and continued his career as a Small Business Lender with Charter One Bank and Comerica Bank, and Assistant Vice President of Credit Administration with Oakland Commerce Bank in Farmington Hills. Most recently, Todd has been with First Independence Bank in Detroit where as their Vice President of Credit Administration, where he was responsible for the daily management of the Bank’s Commercial Credit Department.
Todd earned his Bachelor of Arts degree (Liberal Arts Major) in 1987 from Carroll University and went on to earn a Master of Science Degree (Finance Major) from Walsh College. Todd lives with his teenage son Michael and his faithless cat Hemingway. Hobbies include playing the saxophone, golfing, enjoying time with his family and traveling with his girlfriend Yuri.
